    I recently saw a story on the local news about how young adults today are skipping landlines when they move out on their own. I love cell phones like everyone else, but I think a landline is also important to have. Service usually only cost a few dollars each month, and they are very useful for emergencies. Since I have had my cell phone, I have misplaced it many times and I even dropped it in the bathtub once and had to wait several days for a new one. I don't think I could have gotten through those times without my landline close by to help me locate my cell phone and order a new replacement. I created this blog to remind young people today that home landlines are very important to have.
